REASI, Oct 19: One person died and four others were injured in two separate road accidents here, since the last 24 hours.
In the Intervening night of 18-19 October, a Royal Enfield motorcycle skidded off the road near Nao Devian, Katra, resulting into death of the motorcyclist Babloo Kumar (21), son of Darshan Lal of Panchari, district Udhampur while the pillion riders Arjun Singh(22), son of Bansi Lal of Battel Ballian Udhampur and Ravi Kumar (18), son of Des Raj of Battel Ballion Udhampur, sustained serious injuries.
Babloo Kumar reportedly died on the spot while the injured were shifted to CHC Katra for treatment. Their condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, in another road mishap, two persons were injured when the vehicle, they were travelling in, slipped into a gorge near Chassana in Mahore Division of Reasi.
The vehicle, an Eco car, bearing registration number JK 20-8170, was on way towards Sungri from Chassana when it met with the accident. The injured, identified as Nazir Ahmed(32) son of Abdul Rashid and Shabir Ahmed(25) son of Gul Mohd, both resident of Dhamni, were shifted to CHC Mahore and then referred to District Hospital Reasi.
