BHADERWAH, Aug 14: A woman died and four persons sustained serious injuries when an Alto car, they were travelling in, met with an accident , here this evening.
The accident took place around 6.30 pm when the Alto car, bearing registration number JK02BF-7573, skidded off the road and turned turtle at Kondra, Bhalra.
The deceased was identified as Indlu Devi (33), wife of Kikar Singh of Pira Bhalla. She reportedly died on the spot while four others in the car sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Bhaderwah hospital.
They were identified as Kikar Singh (35), son of Ved Lal of Pira Bhalla, Devi Singh (43), son of Hem Raj of Pira Bhalla, Sumunder Lal (45), son of Inder Raj of Ludu Bhalessa and Ram Singh (46), son of Devi Ram of Kathua.
Two of the injured were further referred to Government Medical College Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
