JAMMU, Feb 18: One person died while another two were injured in two separate road accidents in Samba district since late last night.
According to police one person was hit by an unknown vehicle at Kartholi Bari Brahmana near Sheep Husbandry Office resulting his instant death. The vehicle fled from the spot after accident.
The deceased has been identified as Shokat Ali, 25 son of Shida of Nailki. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant Sections of the law.
In another accident at Bari Brahmana today a truck bearing number JK 14-8652 hit a motor cycle bearing number JK02AP/2335 resulting into the serious injuries to motorcyclists who were identified as Darshan Lal, of Basholi and Nirmal Kumar son of Om Parkash of R S Pura. They were taken to Om Hospital Bari Brahmana where from the doctors referred them to GMC Jammu.
The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
