SRINAGAR, Jan 12: One person died and two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that Imtiyaz Ahmed Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir resident of Dardkote received serious injuries when a Tata Sumo JK05C/8132 while on way from Uri to Dardkote turned turtle at Kagli Mod, Uri. Imtiyaz was shifted to Sub District Hospital Uri where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Santro car HK04/9002 hit and injured 70 years old, Hajra Begum, wife of Ghulam Rasool Rather resident of Chottipora-Hygam on near Bulgam-Tarzoo in Baramulla district. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Scorpio JK03B/4172 hit and injured 13 years old, Shafqat Ahmed Chara, son of Irshad Ahmad resident of Rakhibrah at Rakhibrah-Mattan, Anantnag. The injured boy was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
