PYC opposes enhancement of retirement age

KISHTWAR, Jan 12: Pradesh Youth Congress unit Kishtwar has opposed the enhancement of retirement age of the Government employees and said that it will cause impact on the educated unemployed youth.
In a function of the Youth Congress held at the party office here today under the leadership of Aamir Sohail, general secretary Youth Congress Doda-Kathua Lok Sabha constituency, PYC members of the area opposed the demand projected by the employees. They cautioned the Government to consider the miseries of unemployed youth before taking any such decision. They also warned the Government to roll back on recruitment policy.
The PYC members further demanded special recruitment drive and employment package for the unemployed youth at Sarthal, Bunjwah, Chhatroo, Kontwara, Saroor, Kahra, Bhalessa, Paddar, Marwah, Dachhan, Warwan, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Kathua and other hilly areas of this constituency. Mr Sohail asked the Government to stop exploitation of daily wagers/ consolidated workers and ensure their regularization without any delay.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Tariq Raza, Mohsin Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Imtiaz Ahmed, Shakir Abrar, Burhan Shah, Adil Sheikh, Rameez Sheikh, Junaid and Mohd Arif.
