JAMMU, Aug 31: One person was killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents in city outskirts.
Police sources said that one person identified as Om Prakash (40) son of Prabhu Dayal, resident of Marh, received serious injuries yesterday when the motorcycle he was riding, got slipped on the road at Nagrota. The injured man succumbed to his injuries today at about 11:15 am in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where he was undergoing treatment.
Another mishap occurred today at Stadium Morh, Channi Himmat, where a motorcycle was hit by a car. In the mishap, two persons namely Khan Mohd (45) son of Peer Mohd and her wife Shamim Akhtar (38), residents of Ward number 49, Channi Rama (Jammu) sustained injuries. Both the injured were shifted to GMCH Jammu for medical treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
