One killed, 2 injured as tractor runs over sleeping truck drivers

REASI, May 22: In a tragic accident, a tractor ran over three truck drivers sleeping on the roadside at Simbal Choa in the wee hours, here today, resulting into death of one person and critical injuries to two others.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Zubair (21), son of Mohd Sharif, resident of Kanskasa while the injured, namely Kala Khan (25 yrs), son of Ismail of Kansi Patta and Tarseem Kumar (18 yrs), son of Ramesh Kumar of Tali Morh Reasi, are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Reasi.
The mishap took place when these three truck driver were sleeping on the roadside after parking their trucks alongside at Simbal Choa area. At around 4 am in the morning, a tractor came from Dera Baba side and ran over these sleeping persons resulting into the death of one and injuries to two others.
The tractor driver fled from the spot while Reasi Police has registered a case in this connection.
