One killed, 10 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, June 29: One person died and ten others were injured in separate road accidents, here today.
According to the reports, a collision took place between truck JK 02AD-5142, and  Mahindra 207 near Chinar resulting into death of driver of the Mahindra vehicle. Driver of the truck and other person in the Mahindra vehicle sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The deceased was identified as Jamait Alli (22),  son of Abrahim of Kud, who died on the spot.  The injured,  namely Rakesh Kumar Khajuria,  (20) son of Satish Kumar of Kud     and truck driver Rajinder Singh (39),  son of Amru of Batote, were  shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu.
In another road accident, a truck JK02AR-9187  hit  a Tata Mobile JK14-6079 at Malhar Morh, resulting into injuries to  driver of the Tata Mobile. Locals and police rushed to  the spot and shifted the injured driver  to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured was  identified as Gulam Hassan,  son of Gulam Rasool of Sangal Dan.
Truck driver along with the Truck fled away from the spot.
A couple among three persons was injured when their Bolero car was hit by an Oil Tanker at Dogra Kud. The injured were identified as Rajesh Kumar (40), son of Jarnial Singh of Incha, Teshil Chenani,  his wife Nisha Rani (35) and Kriah Choudhari,  son of Sohan Singh of Sangot Teshil Chenani.
Meanwhile, a van JK02AJ-3237,  on way from Basantgarh to Gandh Top, met with an accident  at Shiv Gali,  resulting into injuries to  driver Mulkh Raj,  son of Hem Raj of Chakal and  three passengers, namely Barsha Devi, his sister Santosh Devi both, daughter of Krishan Lal and  Sunita Devi,  daughter of Haqiqat Raj,  all resident of Chatrari Tehsil Basantgarh.
