JAMMU, Sept 21: One person was injured today in a road accident in Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, a 27-year-old youth namely Akash son of Madan Lal, resident of Talab Tillo (Jammu) received grievous injuries after a scooty which he was riding got slipped on the road after being hit by the door of a car that was opened suddenly by its occupant.
“The injured youth was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be critical when the last reports came in,” sources said, adding, Gandhi Nagar police had taken cognizance of the matter.
