DODA, Dec 21: Police here today arrested a narcotic peddler and recovered heroin from him.
A police party of Police Station Doda while on a routine checking duty near Akramabad on Doda-Bhagwah road observed suspicious movement of one person coming towards Doda town by foot from Bhagwah carrying a bag.
Cops intercepted him and on questioning he disclosed his name Isaq Ahmed son of Shamas Din Khawaja of Broon Bhagwah.
On his search heroin like substance concealed by him in polythene pouch was recovered which he was carrying for selling to the youth.
He was arrested and a case in FIR No. 260/2022 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigations started.
