UDHAMPUR, May 8: Police here today arrested a narcotic smuggler at Narsoo, Chenani after recovering 400 gm Charas from him.
Under the supervision of Ahmad Shaafi, SDPO Chenani, a police patrolling party led by Inspector Charanjeet Singh, SHO Chenani Police Station intercepted a suspect roaming in suspicious manner and hiding something from cops.
During his search, 400 gm Charas was recovered.
Police sources informed that the narcotic smuggler disclosed his identity as Randhir Singh alias Bittu son of Giyan Singh of Batna, Chenani.
In this connection, a case under NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Chenani and investigations started.
