JAMMU, Oct 2: Domana police arrested a person and rescued 6 bovine animals from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Domana police station laid a naka and intercepted a person carrying flock of bovines by foot.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory replies and police arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Benia, son of Mohammad Qasim, a resident of Gole Gujral.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against the accused at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Rajinder Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma, SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
