JAMMU, June 10: Miran Sahib Police today arrested a peddler and recovered 4.70 grams of heroin from his possession.
“A team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq while on naka duty at Marallian Morh rounded up a suspected person who was coming from Dak Banglow Marallian towards Miran Sahib,” a spokesman said.
He said during search, 4.70 grams of heroin was recovered from the accused identified as Salman Khan son of Mohd Yaqoob and resident of Darsopur (RS Pura). “In this regard, a case FIR Number 113/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and the accused arrested,” he added.
Further investigation of the case was going on, the spokesman further added.
