JAMMU, Feb 23: One person was arrested with 3168 psychotropic capsules and Rs 15000 cash on Thursday, police said.
They said that a police party of PS Nowabad led by DySP Headquarters Dr Sunniya Wani assisted by SHO Nowabad Inspector Vijay Kumar and incharge police Post Canal PSI Amreek Singh rounded up a suspect Kali Dass of Kalyanpur at Bhagwati Chowk.
“On search of the belongings of the suspect, police said, 3168 psychotropic substances and Rs 15000 in cash was recovered,” police said, adding that the accused has been booked under the relevant sections of the law registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigations taken up.
