JAMMU, Jan 9: Bathindi Police today apprehended a drug peddler with 10 kg of Poppy straw.
The arrest and recovery was made during naka checking at Bathindi Dugia area by a team of Police Post Bathindi. The accused was identified as Farooq Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Larno Kokernag, Anantnag (at present living in Bathindi, Jammu).
In this regard, a case FIR Number 10/2023 u/s 8/15 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation of the case started.
