KATHUA, Sept 22: Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua RC Kotwal has solved a theft case by arresting one thief and recovering stolen items viz three mobile phones from the offender who was involved in burglary in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Rajbagh.
Police said on September 22 a case was registered at police station Rajbagh in connection with theft vide FIR No. 191/2021 under Section 457/380 IPC. Acting on the same police party of PS Rajbagh led by Inspector, Amit Sangra arrested one suspected thief namely Dawarka Parshad alias Rinku son of Kheem Raj of Dhaloti tehsil, Marheen district Kathua who was evading his arrest. During sustained questioning the accused confessed his involvement and on his disclosure three Mobile phones have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The further investigation of the case is going on and his involvement in any other case cannot be ruled out.
