RAJOURI, July 20: One person was arrested today by Rajouri police for kidnapping a girl.
“One person namely Mohd Iqbal, resident of Ward number 4, Rajouri this afternoon lodged a written complaint at police station Rajouri that his daughter name held (age about 20/21 years) has been kidnapped by an unknown person,” a police official said.
He said that after registering a case, Rajouri police arrested one suspect namely Sahil Kumar (22) son of Rattan Chand, resident of Sawni, tehsil Rajouri, who was behind the kidnapping. “A case FIR number 459/2019 under Sections 366, 109 RPC has been registered at police station Rajouri,” he added.
