JAMMU, Nov 23: Police arrested a person for black marketing of LPG cylinders.
As per police sources, on specific information, police conducted raid at Yard Number 1, Narwal.
During the raid, police arrested one person namely Amarjeet Singh, son of Randhir Singh of Rajouri, at present Narwal Bala for black marketing LPG cylinders.
Police recovered 12 filled and 9 empty LPG cylinders, which the accused had kept in two maruti cars bearing registration number DL2CK-1036 and JK02D-7204.
A case under FIR Number 280/15 under Section 3/7 EC Act has been registered against the accused at police station Trikuta Nagar and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Narwal ASI Shabir and SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Shaazad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
