RAJOURI, Mar 9: The police seized a car and arrested its driver under Excise Act after recovery of illicit liquor from his possession in Bathuni area today.
A police spokesman said that police naka party at Bathuni intercepted a Santro car No. JK02X/ 2861 and during search recovered 34 pouches of liquor and 9 bottles of whisky. The police arrested its driver Rajesh Kumar, son of Bihari Lal, resident of Kallar and also seized vehicle alongwith liquor. He was coming friom Rajouri side to his village. A case was registered in this connection.
