JAMMU, Oct 30: Police today arrested a person along with 350 grams of charas from Bus-Stand.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police party from Bus-stand police station intercepted a person for checking on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 350 grams of charas and arrested the narcotic smuggler, who has been identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Hari Lal Bisht, a resident of Tatta Pani, Atholi, district Kishtwar.
A case under FIR number 69/14 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bus-Stand police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bus Stand police station Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of DySP City Perbeet Singh, SP City Shiv Kumar Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
