SRINAGAR, Oct 7: One person was electrocuted and two others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in came in contact with high tension wires in Bandipora.
A Tata 207 bearing registration number JK15/2539 carrying paddy grass from Nagiwan, Bazipora Ajas got in contact with a High Tension Line at Nagiwan Culvert, Sumbal-Bandipora. In the incident Naseer Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Hamid Resident of Bazipora Ajas died of electric shock while two others were severely injured in the mishap.
The body was handed to his relatives for last rites and injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
