RAJOURI, July 2: One person was killed while at least ten others injured in two separate road accidents in district Rajouri today.
A Police spokesman said that a youth was killed while three others injured when two bikes collided at Nerojal on Rajouri-Thannamandi road today. While 20-year-old Azhar Lone, son of Farooq Lone, resident of Fatehpur was succumbed to injuries while being shifted to Rajouri hospital, three others were admitted to DH Rajouri with serious injuries. They were identified as, Umar Nassar -17 yrs hailing from Dhanour, Basharat Hussain -25 from Bhathian and Amjad Khan, son of Zaffar Khan from Thannamandi area. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. Condition of Umar Nassar was said to be serious.
Meanwhile, at least seven persons were injured when a mini-Bus No. JK-11/ 4522 turned turtle near Petrol Pump Nowshera. The vehicle was on way to Nowshera from Siot. All the injured were removed to Sub District Hospital, Nowshera. Some of them were discharged after providing first aid. The injured undergoing treatment in the hospital were -Sagina Begum-55, Rozia Kouser-13 yrs daughter of Mohd Riaz, Zatoon Begum -55 yrs and Mehraj Akhtar -27, all hailing from Lamberi. The police has taken cognizance.
