One dies of Corona in Kashmir, 104 test +ve

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Sept 26: One person died of COVID-19 and 104 tested positive in Kashmir division while 23 fresh cases were reported in the Jammu region and two in the Union Territory of Ladakh today.
Among 23 cases in the Jammu region, six each were reported from Jammu and Doda districts, four in Rajouri, three Kathua and one each in Udhampur, Samba, Ramban and Reasi districts. Kishtwar and Poonch districts didn’t report any fresh cases.
Thirty nine persons today recovered from the virus leaving behind 240 active positive cases in the region.
Of two cases registered in Ladakh–one each was reported from Leh and Kargil districts.
The UT of Ladakh now has 157 active positive cases—153 in Leh and four in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 104 fresh cases of COVID-19.
One person succumbed to the viral infection in Kashmir taking fatality count to 4422 including 2249 in Kashmir.
Srinagar reported 56 cases, Baramulla 13, Budgam 8, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 4 and Ganderbal 7.
Meanwhile, 175 more patients have recovered including 136 from Kashmir. So far 323072 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1514-including 1274 in Kashmir.
