RAJOURI, Mar 18: One person was killed while four others injured when a Brezza car and truck collided at Tandwal near Rajouri this evening.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when some members of a family were on way to Jammu from Surankote in their Brezza car No. JK12A/ 6789. The car was collided with truck No. JK02AP/6225 coming from the opposite direction at Tandwal.
All the five injured were rushed to DH Rajouri where Ramesh Chander, son of Yog Raj, resident of Surankote succumbed to injuries after some time. The injured are identified as Anita, wife of Ramesh Chander, Rahul, minor son of Ramesh Chander, Geeta Devi, wife of Vinod Kumar and Naresh Kumari, wife of Om Parkash, all residents of Surankote. The women were later referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. The relatives alleged that due to delayed treatment at Rajouri hospital, Ramesh succumbed to injuries.
