One day conference of Asha Workers Union held

JAMMU, June 14: One day conference of Asha Workers Union, Sub-Centre Maralian was held at Miran Sahib under the chairmanship of its general secretary Sunita Bhagat.
While addressing the conference, Sham Prasad Kesar senior leader of the CITU demanded release of incentive of Asha workers along with arrears pending from April 2014, Asha workers be deputed for training on the basis of strict seniority, Asha workers be covered under Aam Aadmi Bima Yojna, issuance of identity cards, timely payment of all other incentives, two uniforms in a year, washing allowance, minimum wages till regularized as permanent employees.
On the occasion, a Zone Committee was constituted with Sudesh Kumari as president, Santosh Kumari as secretary, Rosy Maralian as cashier, Surishta, Darshna Devi, Kamlesh Kumari, Shakuntla  Devi, Santosh Kumari, and Garo Devi as members.
