RAMBAN, July 19: Police here today arrested a man for his involvement in anti-national and anti-social activities in Gool and its surrounding areas and booked him under PSA.
Police sources informed that Ghulam Nabi, son of Abdul Rehman Chandail, a resident of Bhimdassa, Tehsil Gool was slapped PSA.
Acting on the directions of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar, a comprehensive dossier on Ghulam Nabi was meticulously prepared and forwarded to the District Magistrate Ramban for approval.
The case was subsequently processed and on obtaining the necessary sanction from the competent authority under Section 8 of the Public Safety Act (PSA) 1978, Ghulam Nabi was detained under PSA and lodged in District Jail Jammu.
