JAMMU, July 21: Continuing its crackdown against drug menace under Operation Sanjeevani, District Police Jammu today arrested a person after heroin was recovered from his possession.
“A joint team of District Special Branch, Jammu and police station Bus Stand apprehended one person namely Imran Hussain Ganai son of Ghulam Qadir Ganai, resident of Anantnag and on search, 4 gram of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this connection, a case FIR No 40/2019 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at police stand Bus Stand and further investigation initiated.
