One arrested in Bishnah stabbing case, hunt on for another accused

JAMMU, May 19: Police today claimed they have arrested one accused within 36 hours in connection with a stabbing incident reported from the Kothey Chorli area of Bishnah, while raids are underway to nab another accused involved in the case.
A police official said one Vipin Kumar, resident of Kothey Chorli, Bishnah, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon near Arman Fast Food following a personal dispute.
Following the attack, he was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Bishnah for treatment.
Acting on the complaint, the police official said a case under the relevant sections of the law was registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigations were taken up.
During investigation, he said a police team apprehended one accused, identified as Sushil Kumar, a resident of Kothey Chorli, within 36 hours of the incident while searches are underway to arrest another accused, identified as Bobby, also a resident of Kothey Chorli.
