Omar visits residences of Chopra, Anand, Gupta; conveys condolences

JAMMU, Mar 2: Working President National Conference Omar Abdullah today visited the residences of former legislator Om Chopra, Harjinder Singh Anand and Sneh Gupta to personally convey his condolences to their families.
He expressed his sympathies with former Minister and Congress leader Yogesh Sawhney, Anil Chopra and their other family members over the sad demise of Om Chopra, while recalling his contribution in mitigating the sufferings of the people.
At the residence of Mr Anand, the former Chief Minister met the family members and conveyed his condolences. He prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Conveying his condolences to Janak Raj Gupta, former Member Parliament and other members, Mr Abdullah recalled the role of Sneh Gupta in the field of journalism, saying his passing away has caused a void which is hard to fill.
Provincial President National Conference Jammu and MLA Devender Singh Rana accompanied Omar Abdullah.
