Beerwah, May 13: National Conference (NC) Working President and MLA Beerwah, Omar Abdullah today visited his Constituency Office at Magam, Beerwah and reviewed the follow-up to various directives that he had passed to the concerned departments of the Administration to alleviate public grievances.
The NC Working President released Seven lakh rupees to the Power Development Department on this occasion to undertake immediate and crucial restoration work on Power Infrastructure and Transmission Lines in the area to ensure power-supply to the people without any hindrance. Omar Abdullah also reviewed follow-up to various directives that he had passed to various other departments to resolve public issues that had been brought to his notice.
The NC Working President also held elaborate meetings with Party Workers, Office bearers and activists from Beerwah and reviewed various measures that are underway to strengthen the Party at the grass roots level. “The most important goal has to be the involvement of youth in politics – so that they have a say in making our policy and in the affairs of governance. This is a pre-requisite for prosperity, peace and development. We should all ensure that we work in close collaboration with the youth”, the NC Working President said while addressing Party Workers.
Omar Abdullah was accompanied by Senior NC Leader Professor Abdul Majeed Mattoo, his Political Secretary Tanvir Sadiq, Mirwaiz-e-Beerwah Molvi Lateef-ullah, Block president Haji Ghulam Ahmed Khan and Senior Party activist Mohammad Ibrahim Mir Magami.
