SRINAGAR, June 25: National Conference working president Omar Abdullah took a dig at Centre saying the Government of India (GoI) has assured support to Nepal as it had assured flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to reports that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has assured Nepal that India will provide all possible assistance to the Himalyan nation in its hour of crisis.
Taking a jibe at the Centre, Mr Abdullah, working president of the main opposition party in the State ruled by a coalition Government of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in a tweet said, “Just like the assurance to the flood victims of J&K!! “India assures full support to Nepal in reconstruction efforts http://dnai.in/cKRr”
