Omar takes dig at PDP-BJP on Pak flags, Khalistani posters

SRINAGAR:
Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took a dig at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and BJP alliance over waiving of Pakistani flags in Kashmir and appearance of Khalistani posters in Jammu. He also questioned Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed after the alleged U-turn by the Centre that AIIMS  will be set up first in Jammu.
In a social networking site Twitter, the working president of the main opposition party National Conference (NC) in the State, where PDP-BJP coalition is in power said, ”Pakistani flags in Kashmir & Khalistani posters in Jammu. This wasn’t the regional balance we were promised by the Modi-Mufti accord”. “My heartfelt condolences to the family of the young man killed by police firing in Jammu. May his soul rest in peace”, he said.
On the issue of setting up of AIIMS in Jammu first as announced by Minister of State in the PMO Jitendra Singh at  a press conference at Jammu yesterday, Mr Abdullah said, “Another BJP/PDP U-turn. Mufti Sahib????? “:
Notably, the Centre and State Government had announced to set up AIIMS in Kashmir and IIT at Jammu, which evoked sharp reaction from different Jammu based political parties, including National Panthers Party (NPP), Congress and even National Conference besides Bar Association, traders and other organisations who also called for Jammu bandh recently over this issue. They alleged that BJP has compromised with the interests of people of Jammu region. (AGENCIES)
