Om Parkash Eye Institute opens hospital in Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 28: Dr Om Parkash Eye Institute (P) Ltd, Amritsar one of the prominent chain of eye care hospitals joined the Sheela Devi Eye Care Centre in opening an eye care hospital in Jammu region by opening its new hospital here at Sainik Colony today.
The new hospital was inaugurated at 4 A Extension, Sainik Colony near here and it is open to serve the patients suffering from any kind of eye ailments.
This was stated by Dr Rohit Om Parkash, Chairman Dr Om Parkash Eye Institute Amritsar while talking to media persons during the inauguration of hospital. He said the new hospital is spread over 10,000 sqft of total build up area, a State of the art infrastructure, fully air conditioned will lift facilities across all floors. It provides a depth of expertise in complete spectrum of advanced medical and surgical interventions with a comprehensive mix of in patience and out patient service for cataract , cornea, vitreo Retina Oculoplasty, refractive surgery-Laskik/ICL, C&R for Keratoconus and Glaucoma & Squint.
He said all the sub specialties are under the care of expert consultants of their respective fields from Amritsar & Jammu.
Dr D S Sambyal, Chairman, Sheela Devi Eye Care Centre, Jammu informed that it has also ventured into a major upgradation of its infrastructure and facilities with an aim to provide best quality medical attention, service excellence & committed to provide competitive, accessible & affordable healthcare services at par with international standards to all.
He said under the corporate social responsibility, this group has already conducted more than 400 free cataract surgeries in Jammu and Samba districts during last two months. The group aims at conducting free camps in District Doda, Rajouri and Kishtwar.
Dr Rohit Om Prakash said that at its main hospital base at The Mall, Amritsar, Dr Om Parkash Eye Institute (P) Ltd continued to expand its portfolio of satellite services in its periphery and neighboring towns at Batala, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and now in Jammu.
He said established in 1968 the hospital has been treating the patients with truth and transparency.
