JAMMU, Sept 22: An old woman today sustained burning injuries all over her body at her residence here in Parade area.
A police spokesperson said that the old woman identified as Rani Devi (65), wife of Rama Kant and resident of Parade received burning injuries all over her body, when fire broke out in the kitchen of her house due to leakage of cooking gas.
He said the woman was immediately shifted by the family members to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and further investigations are on.
