SAMBA, July 5: One person was knocked to death by a bus at Bus Stand Purmandal today while driver was parking it in the stand.
The deceased has been identified as Basu Dev, 75, S/o Mela Ram of Greater Kailash Jammu.
According to police Dev who was standing at Bus Stand Purmandal was crushed by bus bearing number 4407 JK02 F while the driver was reversing it at Bus Stand.
The police has seized the bus and arrested the driver Dharam Chand , S/o Mani Ram of Data Talab. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered against him.
