JAMMU, Sept 18: A 75-year-old man was killed today in a road mishap in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a speeding bike this morning hit a bicycle in Kothi Khour area. He said in the mishap, cycle rider, Puran Singh son of Kanahiya Singh, received serious injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Miran Sahib and further investigation started,” the official added.
