REASI, Apr 19: An old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances soon after a scuffle with his son over some land dispute at Judda in Mahore, here today.
The Police has not ruled out murder of the old man, identified as Siraj Din (80), son of Stara Bhat of Judda.
According to Police reports, based on some eyewitnesses, Siraj Din was on way to his fields when one of his three sons entered into a heated exchange with him over a land dispute in the morning.
Later in the afternoon, the old man was found lying dead in the fields under mysterious circumstances. On being informed, Police reached the spot and shifted the body to Reasi hospital for postmortem.
Even as the body had no visible injury mark, Police did not rule out the possibility of murder and therefore a case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
