AIATF for strict action against anti-nationals

JAMMU, Apr 19:  All India Anti-terrorists Squad (AIATF), J&K unit has urged upon the  Government to take strict action against the people indulging in anti-national activities.
Talking to media persons State president of the Front, Bharat Bhandari, said that J&K is the worst sufferer of the terrorists activities in the country. He alleged that apart from terrorists activities, the separatists elements, supported from across the border, are playing divisive politics.
He said waving of Paksitani flags in open defiance of the law and order by Masrat Alam reflects how these separatists aided by terrorists are posing threat to the State and Indian nation. He demanded stern action against them.
Bhandari further said that Front will wage a war against the terrorist and separatists activities in all the three-regions of the State. He said that a special membership drive will be started including in the Kashmir to expose these elements.
Newly inducted chairman of the Front Vijay Kumar said that  organisation has already received an enthusiastic response from the people of  Kashmir. He said the terrorists and separatists will not be allowed to move freely and their activities will be  exposed.  He said Front will start a campaign against the usage of the drugs in the State as the youth are becoming addict and this menace is spoiling their career.
He said the drug abuse like terrorism, is also biggest challenge in the country and the State.  Many vested interests, some having connections with the terrorist groups, are supporting this trade and the money earned from it is being used to finance terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, All India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF) has appointed Vijay Kumar as chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Front.  The appointment was made by     All India chairman of the Front Maninderjit Singh Bitta on the recommendation of State president,  Mr  Bhandari.
Among others present on the occasion included  Harvinder Singh Gothra (senior vice president), Gaurav Mahajan (secretary) and Prince Khajuria  (media secretary).
