RAMBAN, Feb 26: Two persons on board an Oil Tanker here today sustained injuries after the vehicle skidded off the road and landed in a gorge at Selhad, Sherbibi area of Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Sources informed that the Oil Tanker bearing registration number JK01AL-8202 was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu and it skidded off the road at Selhad, Sherbibi area leaving both the driver and the conductor injured.
Police said that both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Banihal for treatment.
The injured were identified as Sahil Ahmed, son of Abdul Kareem and Afridi Rasool, both residents of Tangmarg, Baramulla.
Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant Sections of law at Police Station Banihal and started investigation.
