BHADARWAH, July 19: An oil tanker carrying 5,000 lts of fuel for the Army establishment today toppled on the hilly slope on Suigwari-Thaleela link road, resulting into injuries to the driver.
As per reports, the tanker bearing registration number JK02BF-2981 which was on its way to Army Camp Thaleela from Udhampur fell down near Thaleela this afternoon when the driver could not control the vehicle on slippery hilly slope.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals evacuated the injured driver to District Hospital Doda, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured driver has been identified as Jasvinder Singh of Tikkri District Udhampur.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
