JAMMU, June 25: In a grand function, Mirpur Mahajan Sabha today inaugurated its permanent office at Dewan Janj Ghar, Sarwal Colony, Jammu.
The office was inaugurated by chief guest, Ex-Principal, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, Dr Subhash Gupta in the presence of retired DG, Rajinder Gupta, who was the guest of honour and office bearers of the Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the Sabha, Sanjay Gupta highlighted the achievements of Sabha. He said with the opening of the office, a free marriage bureau for all community members will start functioning, which will be helpful to the community.
Dr Subhash Gupta, while speaking said that this office will be beneficial for all the community members of Mahajan Biradri and will prove a milestone in bringing all community members together.
Rajinder Gupta appreciated the efforts of the Sabha for starting a free marriage bureau for all communities.
Earlier, ex-president of the Sabha, Amar Chand Gupta, gave in detail the background, which needed the establishment of permanent office of the Sabha.
The function concluded with a sumptuous dinner served to all the participants.
