KATHUA, May 19: An 80 year old lady was killed after she was hit by a motor cycle at Kathua-Kalibari road near DC Office, this afternoon.
She has been identified as Kakhri Devi, Wife of Bua Ditta of Ward Number 15, Kathua.
The lady had come out of her residence and while crossing the road she was hit by a motor cycle, police said. The two youth riding on motor cycle lifted the lady and dropped her in front of District Hospital Kathua and fled.
The lady was taken inside the hospital for treatment by the attendants of patients but she succumbed to her injuries.
The Kathua police has registered a case in this regard under relevant Sections of the law. The police is working to locate the motorcycle and the two youth also.
