OBCs claim ‘injustice’

JAMMU, Dec 25: J&K OBCs here today organized a joint peace tricolor rally in which all OBC organizations participated.
The rally started from Janipur High Court Road and culminated at Akhnoor and was led by Bansi Lal Choudhary and Kasturi Lal Basutra.
Participants in the rally claimed injustice with OBCs even today in the 21st century.
They said that attitude of the government towards OBC section is totally unacceptable as the political reservation to this section of the society in J&K is still pending.
“We are called OSCs instead of OBCs which the government is not rectifying. Our unemployed youth, including national scholarship and fellowship holders, international theatre artists, unemployed postgraduate engineers and others are still striving hard for their bread and butter,” OBC leaders in the rally said.
Those who participated in the rally were Mansa Ram, Rajendra Kumar, Mohan Lal Pawar, Rajendra Kumar Sakka, Mohd Shabir, Balwant Raj Kataria, Amit Mehra, Ashok Kumar and others.
