OBC Mahasabha to take out Mashal rally

JAMMU, Mar 18: All J&K OBC Mahasabha has decided to hold Mashal Rally on March 22 in protest against continuous denial of their due share by the successive Governments so far.
The decision was taken in a core group meeting of Mahasabha held under the chairmanship of Kasturi Lal Basotra, president Sain Samaj. Senior Advocate Bachan Lal Kalgotra was the chief guest.
In the meeting chalked out strategy to educate OBC masses residing in Jammu and Kashmir about their ‘Vote Power’ keeping in view the forthcoming Parliament and Assembly elections as also coming local body polls.
The speakers said the OBC masses will teach a lesson to those political parties which have ruled the State for more than 65 years a Congress and National Conference have totally crushed the reservation rights of OBCs in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Mahasabha asked the vice chairman of OBC Development Board and its members to quit their posts for their dismal performance during all these years. It was decided to take out Mashal Rally on March 22 whioch would start from Kashyap Rajput Sabha Moti Bazar Jammu to City Chowk at 5 pm.
Those who spoke in the core group meeting included Manohar Lal Tidyal, Om Parkash Jojotra, Vishal Mehra, Ram Parshad, Kishore Bhardwaj, Prof B L Bhardwaj, K C Dogra and others.
