OBC Maha Sabha seeks stern action against those who violated CUJ Roster

JAMMU, Oct 19: All J&K OBC Maha Sabha – a united forum of OBC presidents of different castes and communities of the Backward Classes, has appealed the Chairman of National Commission for Backward Classes, New Delhi to take stern action against the Central University of Jammu authorities, who manipulated the Reservation Roster for recruitment in the university.
The appeal was made during a meeting of core group of the Maha Sabha, which was held here today under the chairmanship of Mohan Lal Pawar (general secretary) in the presence of convenor Bansi Lal Choudhary, Kasturi Lal Basotra and others.
In the meeting, all the speakers discussed the Excelsior report and editorial on the alleged violations made by the CUJ authorities in recruitment of teaching positions and manipulation of Reservation Roster.
After the meeting, a formal letter was sent to the Chairman NCBC for stern action against the persons responsible for the violation of Reservation. Another letter was sent to the Registrar CUJ to give the factual position with regard to alleged irregularities and manipulation of Reservation Roster.
Those spoke in the meeting, included Bashir Ahmed Salaria, Sumitra Devi, Mukhtiar Kalia and others.
