NTPC, Innocean Worldwide, REC+ winners in DAC Media Quiz 2013

NEW DELHI, Dec 21: In the Advertising, Marketing and Media Quiz 2013, organized by Delhi Advertising Club here,   NTPC emerged as a first prize winner while second and third prize were bagged by Innocean Worldwide and REC+, respectively.
Indian Oil, Havas Media (MPG) and Mindshare were among the teams in the last round of the Media Quiz.
According to H S Paul, president DAC, the Media Quiz is organized by the club every year as part of professional activities for the members. This time 16 teams participated in the quiz, which included Innocean Worldwide (2 teams), Indian Oil, NTPC, Havas Media/MPG (2 teams), Mindshare World, Motivator World, Graphisads Ltd, Airads Ltd, Zenith Optimedia, Mediacom, Interpublicity and News 24.
Kailash Arora-Honorary Secretary, said that there was good response from the banner sponsors which helped the club to raise sufficient funds for organizing the event. The banner sponsors were Daily Excelsior of Jammu, NTPC, Lehar Advertising, Competition Success Review, IPSA Labs, Havas Media (MPG) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
B Sridhar, Group Director of Media Services at Innocean Worldwide was the Quiz Master.
While addressing the audience, Mr Paul said that people in the advertising agencies in Delhi and NCR are more efficient at innovations and negotiations. They think bigger, do not approach advertisers as space vendors; rather they go as concept sellers and match with the new trend in advertising. This kind of professional cultures increase advertising prospects in the region, he added and urged the audience to come forward in support of Delhi Advertising Club with more enthusiasm.
Mr Paul  thanked  V K Chopra, R C Tanwar, Vijay Chopra and Subhash Vatsain, Kailash Arora , K K Malhotra, J P Singh,  Arun Kumar Soni, Naresh Sachdeva , S K Babbar, Surinder Rana  and members executive committee for their whole hearted support.
