NSUI protests against JU’s new policy

JAMMU, May 30: National Students’ Union of India (NSUI)  today protested against Jammu University’s new policy for depositing  entrance  forms.
In the new pattern of depositing entrance forms, the students have to make two Demand Drafts, first for purchasing the form and second after choosing the subject options for entrance exams because of which students have to stand in queue twice under the burning sunlight outside the bank.
Hundreds of  fresher students who came for depositing the entrance forms joined the NSUI leaders who  protested outside the  J&K Bank in Jammu University, to raise their issue to the concerned authorities.
Later, NSUI leaders accompanied by protesting students met the Dean of Academic Affair, raised their issue and discussed it in detail with the Dean, who ensured to solve the problem by tomorrow.
The protest was led by Uday Chib, State president NSUI, Naseeb Ali, State coordinator  NSUI, Neeraj Kundan, National deligate, Kamal Mangotra, coordinator, Jammu University while Niti Bakshi, Abhishek  and many others were also present.
