JAMMU, Aug 4: Reiterating its demand for implementation of one man one post policy in Jammu University, the NSUI has threatened to re-launch a stir over the issue.
Talking to media persons here today, NSUI State general secretary Kamal Mangotra alleged that the JU Vice-Chancellor did not fulfill the promise made by him over the issue. “Following NSUI protests, the VC removed several officers from multi-administrative posts but still there are a bunch of officers who are holding more than one post which is a great injustice with highly qualified youth who are wandering like rolling stones for jobs,” he said and demanded immediate removal of all such officers and employing competent persons on those posts.
Choudhary Naseeb Ali, national delegate NSUI, alleged that the university authorities were not interested in adopting the policy of change which is a greatest hurdle in the path of development of JU.
NSUI State president Neeraj Kundan stressed that the JU should immediately implement the policy of “one man-one post” otherwise protests will be lodged against the university authorities in every nook and corner of the State.
Others who were present in the press conference, included Nitin Bakshi, Gautam, Manav and Anshu.
