KATRA, May 31: Under the leadership of NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) organized a convention in Katra today to strongly protest the recurring NEET scam and CBSE OSM scam that have severely compromised the future of lakhs of students across the country.
Addressing the gathering, Ajay Lakhotra said that serious irregularities in NEET exam have destroyed the dreams of millions of meritorious students aspiring to become doctors. “The sanctity of one of India’s most important entrance examinations has been shattered due to complete failure of the Ministry of Education and NTA,” he alleged.
Similarly, the NSUI leader added, the CBSE On-Screen Marking (OSM) scam has raised serious questions on the transparency and fairness of board examinations. “These scams are not mere administrative lapses but a betrayal of the trust of the youth of this nation,” he said, adding that the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must immediately resign taking moral and constitutional responsibility.
“The Central Government cannot wash its hands of this grave issue. NSUI will continue to fight until a high-level judicial probe is ordered and the guilty are punished,” said Ajay Lakhotra.
On this occasion, youth leader Vikram Aditya Singh formally joined the NSUI. The convention was attended by NSUI Secretary Sheel Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Raghvendra, Abhay, Ali, and several other NSUI and Youth Congress workers.
