Public meeting held at Samba

SAMBA, Jan 14: A public meeting was organized regarding the Bharat Jodo Yatra being run by the Congress, here today in which NSUI National president, Neeraj Kundan was the main speaker.
Several Congress leaders and local people participated in the public meeting held at Chak Manga here. It is to be known that on January 19, Congress vice president, Rahul Gandhi will enter J&K with his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
National president, Neeraj Kundan, while addressing the meeting said that to unite the country under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and to awaken the common people about the policy of dividing the country in the name of religion by the Central Government the yatra has been taken out.
The Yatra will reach Lakhanpur, the gateway of Jammu and Kashmir, on January 19 and will leave from there on January 20. Every leader, activist and people of the affected section of the society are being contacted in Samba district to take the message of Yatra door-to-door and organize the Yatra successfully in Jammu and Kashmir and make people aware to participate in it.
He said that this Yatra will conclude on January 30th at Lal Chowk in Srinagar Kashmir and many other political parties will also be in support.
He called upon the people of Samba and entire Jammu and Kashmir to participate in this yatra to listen to Rahul Gandhi’s views and extend support for this yatra by taking the Congress policy door-to-door. Senior Congress leaders general secretary, PCC and DDC member Shanwaj Choudhary, National spokesperson, Iftikar Ahmed, Kamer Singh, Surinder Attri, Sarpanch, Vinay Sharma, councilor, Sudesh Kumari, Neelam Chauhan, Gambhir Singh and many others were also present on the occasion.
